What is the best time for a newborn and baby session?

Expecting parents often ask what is the best time to do a newborn photo session. I would say the best time for newborn photo session is from 6 to 14 days old. Babies in this age are usually more chilled and sleepy, which allows for creating more variety in their gallery. When the newborns are older than 2 weeks , they might be more awake. They also start to lose some of that gorgeous wrinkly skin and downy hair. Baby acne can appear from around two to three weeks old and cradle cap is common from a month or two old. Although none of these are reasons not to have your baby photographed, of course! No matter how late you get round to it, a photo session with baby is always a great idea!
