Terms & Conditions statement of facts

Payment
A £50 non-refundable retainer is required to book your session. This amount will be deducted from the total package price.
The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of your session, either by cash or bank transfer.

Rescheduling
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. One reschedule is permitted per session.
Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. A £20 rescheduling fee will apply.

Gallery & Image Selection
You will receive an email with a link to your unedited online gallery within 3–6 working days. The gallery will remain active for 14 days. If you do not place your order within this period, a £20 reactivation fee will apply to extend access.

If no image selection is made within 4 weeks from when the gallery is sent, Unicorn Children’s Photography will select the images for you. These selections are final, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

Once your selections are submitted, your chosen images will be edited within 2–3 weeks. If your order includes prints or wall art, they will be ready for collection within 4–5 weeks from the date your images are chosen.

Editing Policy
Only basic editing is included, which covers adjustments to:

Colours
Background
Dry skin
Eye shadows
Skin tone and texture

Please note: The following will not be edited:

Grey hair
Hair colour changes or flyaways
Haircuts
Makeup
Broken, dirty, or chipped nails
Nail polish
Face swaps
Wrinkles in clothing
Tattoos

Only fully edited JPEG images will be delivered. All images are protected by copyright. Modifying images in any way is illegal.

Event Sessions
For lifestyle and event sessions (e.g., christenings, weddings), editing may take up to 4 weeks due to the higher volume of images.

Child Cooperation
Unicorn Children’s Photography cannot guarantee a child's cooperation during the session and is not responsible for uncooperative or unsmiling children.

Image Storage
Ordered images are stored for one year from your session date.
Unordered images will be deleted 14 days after your order is placed and will no longer be available.

Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of photography products, all sales are final. No refunds, substitutions, or exchanges are available after an order has been placed.

Agreement
By booking a session with Unicorn Children’s Photography, you acknowledge and agree to these policies. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
